Job Description: Our client, COLGATE-PALMOLIVE PTY LTD, is a leader in the manufacture and selling of market leading global and local brands within the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. Based in Australia with operations in Papua New Guinea, the company is looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic, results-oriented marketing individual to manage its marketing team in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
SENIOR BRAND MANAGER
The successful applicant will:
- Be responsible for the leadership, strategic management and portfolio management of multiple categories.
- Develop and implement market objectives and strategies for local products to achieve both long term and short term business goals in terms of brand equity, health/strength, sales, market share and key profitability measures of margin and operating profit.
- Manage and train direct reports.
- Negotiating media buying
Job Requirements:
- Must be a bachelor’s degree holder from a reputable University, preferably a Marketing degree.
- 5 to 7 years brand management experience in FMCG organization.
- People management experience (preferred).
- Previous P&L responsibility preferable.
- Must have managed a portfolio of brands, preferably global.
- Advertising experience – proven track record in briefing development & creative ideas.
- Sales/Trade Marketing experience highly regarded.
